bTech was contacted by the family of an elderly homeowner who was hospitalized following the discovery of several serious health issues, including respiratory problems. The homeowner’s family were concerned about their father’s long term exposure to possible mold growth in the basement of his home. bTech performed a Mold Assessment of the home and identified a chronic mold infestation in the basement and demonstrated that it was impacting the air quality throughout the home. bTech provided a detailed report including a remediation action plan which the family presented to the remediation contractor.
bTech also provided a Mid-Point Assessment during the remediation work to ensure that the work was being completed efficiently and in accordance with industry standards and a Post Remediation Verification Assessment. bTech’s unique capability to provide on site analysis of mold samples and the provision of the mid-point assessment ensured that the home was remediated quickly and safely before the homeowner returned home from the hospital. bTech’s Post Remediation Verification Assessment verified that the mold remediation was successful in removing the mold growth and restoring the air quality throughout the home, providing a safe environment for the homeowner and peace of mind for the family.
