bTech was retained by the homeowner after she put her house up for sale and the potential buyer had the home inspected and discovered mold growth in her crawlspace. She called to schedule the assessment in the morning and bTech completed the assessment and provided a detailed assessment report and remediation protocol that afternoon. bTech’s assessment confirmed that mold growth was present in the crawlspace and that the air quality in the home had not been impacted.
Due to the rapid response by bTech and our mobile laboratory capability, the homeowner was able to provide the remediation protocol to the remediation contractor and the remediation work was completed the next day. bTech then conducted a Post Remediation Verification Assessment to verify for the buyer that the remediation had been completed successfully and the mold growth had been removed from the crawlspace. This provided peace of mind to the buyer and documentation that air quality was optimum with respect to airborne mold spores.
